She/Her
A former professional ballet dancer, I have shifted my passion and dedication to the field of mental health counseling. It was during my time mediating civil conflicts that I decided to move into the field of counseling to garner a deeper relationship with my clients and more intimately help them move towards their goals and a sense of well-being.
Credentials
• Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
• Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology (Columbia University)
• Master of Education in Mental Health Counseling (Columbia University)
• Juris Doctor (Charleston School of Law)
• Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Dance (Duke University)
My Approach
My approach is proactive, engaged, and pragmatic. I draw from humanistic, CBT, ACT, existential, relational, and strength-based modalities and am certified in Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT) and trauma-informed care. I integrate these approaches to meet each client's unique needs — finding solutions to today's challenges while gaining insight into the past that shaped you.
I strive to create a collaborative, support, and warm therapeutic environment — a safe space where you can explore challenges, build insight, and make meaningful, lasting change. As the heart of my work is the therapeutic alliance, grounded in respect, empathy, and non judgement.
